that a good idea... now we are not sexist.. its just that girls just dont really sign up on forums.. i am pretty sure if girls came here they would be treated just the same... like u for example ( i hope ur being treated just the same as everyone else )

Yeah, I am being treated just the same and you guys aren't sexist. I just think that if someone (I am volunteering) started a forum that was aimed at chicks (guys could join too), then they would get more used to being active in Halo forums, and perhaps some of them would eventually migrate over here or we could join the two forums or...something. The sheer male dominance here would be a bit intimidating for some chicks.

OMG, are you serious? Coz I have been tossing the idea around for a while, I only decided the other day to try and make it a reality after I realised "Damn, I'm the only active chick here". I mean, I knew it before, but it just kind of hit me then...yanoe the feeling?

Another forum suggestion, mainly for promotion purposes...do we have any "link-back" buttons that people can stick on there sites? I mean, those of us who have site of our own have probably started going on about it there, but maybe it would be nice if we had someone here create one that everyone could use? Maybe you guys could have a contest?

Do we have any of them for this site? if we don't, maybe you guys could have an art comp to see who can design the best?

yes we have some of those on different websites.. its called sponsoring...usually we get a link form them for their site and we put it on ours.. and we give them our link to put it on theirs...its just that not many ppl like to do this...

yeah i remember those from a view other sites. there usually like a little bar with a forum name on it and a website embed in them.

no i think he said he made it in photoshop then put the link in with html

oh ok, they are rather easy to make in the Flash program i mentioned, but they are hard to apply to things.

yeah i think i've done it with a flash program before but i figured photoshop can get better quality.

See, with all the different programs and ideas out there, I think it would be nice if we ran some sort of competition...God only knows what the prizes would be...but at the end of the day, we can have several options for this kind of thing and people can take the ones that would match the layout of their website best...colour-scheme wish and stuff. Sure, it's gonna have to reflect who we are as well but...yeah. Just a suggestion.
