NVM, just checked bungie and there is a description of the Halo 3 AI in a podcast, I've been waiting to see something like this!

Hmm, so the humans arn't forrunners, that theory is shot to hell, but they are linked. Our survival was because of the forrunners, but something about us is special to the forrunners, something we can do, either knowingly or unkowingly.

Maybe it is because humans wont surrender themselves so they would be good against the flood.

i would like to say the reason why u cant get into server 5 is because only the first 100 ppl that entered the keyes are allowed to enter the server.... some of them though were kind enough that once they got in there they sent back links so hurray!

my guess is:
denizens are humans.
forerunners researching denizers to find out something about where they came from, who they came from, and what happened to their ancestors.

the ark presumably is also there to research denizens, and as their needed for research, the forerunners would find a way to protect them

if you look at the circular image to the right of the forerunner symbol, look at the circle, possibly the earths layers?

also, a diagram of the earth, perhaps the ark goes deeper down into the earths crust, also, the ark most likely similar to the structures seen in H1 and H2 to study the flood, so there is a slight possibilty of there being forerunner remains down there, or even forerunners themselves, perhaps in "cryo sleep", or also likely, flood in there waiting to be let out.


if you look at all the continents on the earth diagram, they are all squished together, so this is possibly hundreds of thousands if not millions of years ago, earths continents move further apart each year, if only by a few millimeters.

now we know from the comic, there were slighty advanced human beings, but the ark would have most likely to have taken tens of thousands of years to build, even with machines



*EDIT*- the top image is called cycle response, and it has a diagram of the moons cycle around the earth, now as the moons postition affects tides and seasons, it may well affect something to do with the ark.

It made perfect sense, and it explains alot. It looks like from that symbol, if you are correct, that the ark has patterns all throughout the planet, perhaps it is a planetary sheild, and really good thought of the forrunners being down in there in cyro sleep, or in the wierd slipspace sleep the spartans were in at onyx. Hmm, this one actually didn't leave more questions than it answered, it answered alot.

what does 08/16/07 have to do with the ark? is there some sort of pattern im missing or a video?

Its a theory (Been proven, for the most part) on bungie.net that when the moon is in certain positions, that another server would be opened.

The 16th happened to be one of the dates that the moon was in this certain position, and server 5 unlocked.

The next day is supoosedly the 29th (I think). So, hoperfully something interesting will happen....
