Ogame 1000x speed

I think we could run a verion of ogame on this site that runs at 1000x speed. This would mean that we would have to rent a server and get a domain name. We could always keep this site as it is and use it as it's official forum. We would need money though, and that is where part 2 comes in.

I say that if someone donates $2, they can give themselves a custom title of their choosing (not rank though, just title).

and even if 10 people give 2 bucks each, that would still not be enough to get a server.

I have already made plans for a HALOgame, but i can not do anything unless we have money. We would also need someone who is a MASTER, litterally, at pHp and HTML.

If anyone wants to actually contribute some money, i will give a Mod rank to any one person who contributes 10 bucks.

Wait, I found the perfect FREE hosting site. It gives you up to 5GB storage. I dont know any MySQL though, so I cant help set it up.

Lol, there is no way you'll get the Ogame engine. Ive tried to contact the maker of the game, but he is stubborn.

Now, i have a friend, named WatchWood (a member on this forum, actually), who has made a game like Ogame called SeaPowers. He is uber busy and wont be able to actually help us much, but i bet he can get us some contacts in the pHp universe.

Now, would this game you wanna make be Ogame, or HALOgame ?

Alas, and trust me on this one, 'pretty good' wouldnt cut it where this kinda game is concerned.

If pretty good cut it, I'd nominate myself to set it up. But this game would be A level complex php code and would also consist of some php variants. I'm going to try and improve on my php, but at the moment I'm not good enough to run anything like ogame.

I bet, even if he's only 'Pretty Good', we can still use his help somewhere if this project ever gets off its feet.

Though i think, to make this game full scale, we would have to (and should) get Bungie's consent.
Shouldnt be too hard, though, since we wont be making any serious dough; and if we do end up making some serious cash, we could always give some to Bungie

this convo technical issues are way over my head. i would love to fund you guys though i dont have an income so i wouldnt be able to. when i start makin money i'll see what i can do but yeah.

Im not sure why people are so obsessed with ogame, its just a bunch of number pushing and typing. Not exactly high quality entertainment there.

Ogame for me is sort of interesting. if I'm really out of things to do i play it but i reckon there are many more other things that are more interesting. oh and Afthotstreak719 its not in the game section its a massive online game. (its a really really massively slow game too )

Even then its kind of a drag because Number one can take you out whenever they want.
