Well, ill take some of those suggestions. Ill put in a News section
I dont think we need a contest section, because each contest can go into its respective Fan Creations section.
I dont think we need General, Glitches, and Movies' sections for each Halo game. Movies can go in the Movies section, General and Glitches can go in their respective Halo sections.
There are already Graphics, Suggestions, and off-topic sections.

BTW, i cant really change the forum layout. Each layout choice that is available is pretty much just a different set of colors. Every layout is the same.

Well, this forum is alot smaller, so all those sections arent necessary quite yet.

i don't want this site to be like HiH in any way. Personally I hate HiH, thats why I am constantly looking for new sites.

Btw, I wasn't saying those topics needed to be created, I was just simply suggesting a layout. I personally like forums with similar setups because you can get what your looking for right away. You'll have to do it anyways if the forum community grows because everything will just get bumped down before being read.



Although make a free forum is cheap and easy, its not the best way to go. Having a sub-domain is inconvenient and know most people are lazy, they aren't going to want to remember it.

yay a news section!
if your going to make one can you put up recent updates from bungie and halo wars(also info on things like the movie if something happens or on the unidentified game) in it as well as whats going on at this website? That way I(and others) only have to check one website instead of many websites. It would add another reason to visit this site more often.
And i dont think you need anything more than a sub-domain. All you have to do is add the site to your favorites list to get to it fast.

If we end up having alot of members, i can convince my dad to pay for a custom Domain name. For the time being, i am not going to pay for a domain name if its just going to bomb like my last one.

I actually dont like HIH either. Having lots of forums is very convenient, but if you look at HWH or HWF They only have 4 sections and it works perfectly. HWH is a better example, because they have an off-topic section, while HWF doesnt have one(a major drawback, IMO).

I have made PoR an admin. I am going on vacation for a week, i will be back late sunday. So he will be watching the forum in my absence. If a News section is not made by the time i get back, I will make one. And i will try to stay up to date with the updates, but i dont know how good i could be at that. If worse comes to worst, i will find someone responsible to keep the updates...up to date.

Its only 6 dollars for a domain name man! In think you should put a little money into it. I am thinking of making a forum. A real one. My own server, my own bought forum and my own domain name. The only thing that is expensive is the forum, its 80 bux. Maybe you guys should look into this. This way you can host movies and it will help your community grow...

A forum domain name is 16 bucks for a year. I will be doing that later, if we get more members. 16 dollars isnt much to spend.

You need to put some money into the site if you want it to grow, trust me. how many sites do you know that are big and using a sub-domain.

though it may be 6th on the list for speed, I wonder what place it is on for bandwidth...
All I am saying is that sometimes it takes 2 minutes to load a page and usually it times-out after browsing for 5 minutes. GG

dude avids from colorado ..... and idk why purych it takes u 2 mins to load a page.. it only takes like 15 secs to load a page over here....

Well I am not used to having it take so long to load a page. I was exaggerating a little bit, it only takes 15+ seconds, but it should never take that long considering my connection rapes...
