| I'm trying to make the old movie effect for something I'm making. At the very list I need an animation of those vertical bars. Probably asking a lot, but I've only found a static image, so all i'd like is the vertical bars. | |

| aHA! I can help you!
Do you, by chance, have Windows or Mac? If you have Windows, you most likely have Windows Movie Maker. There's an affect there that will give you exactly what you want. It may also make the video slightly tan, to give the image a more classic look as well.
If you need more detailed directions, i can give them, but I haven't used movie maker in a while, so ill have to refresh my memory.

| @Ry: I think..
@Avid: Weird, none of those effects are in here. The only thing I can do is insert video and images then add sound.

| Found the problem. It looks like my computer has the old movie maker. I'm guessing it's because it crashed a couple months back. Thank you Avid for the instructions. I'll see if I can make it work at school. | |
