| A fuel rod cannon would be ok if it did 1/2 or 3/4 damge so that it was'nt as powerful as the rocket launcer. Get rid of missle pods and give rockets back their tracking capabilities. | |

| i didn't like rocket homing.... it made it useless to be in any vehicle... as 1 rocket in the right place can 1 hit kill any vehicle..... | |

| The beta is terrible. If the MP is in anyway close, I guess I am going to play h2. They destroyed so many elements of the game, and I though what they did to h2 was bad. It lacks the thing that separates the good kids from the noobs. The game play is slowed down a lot. They destroyed the BR and the pistol and just left the carbine to rape. The Pistol would have a better chance of being the MLG starting weapon over the BR even if it takes 5 shots. Though the BR has distance now its almost impossible to get a four shot mid range. I only got four shots up close.
h1 was fast. h2 was medium h3 is slow.

| dude... it was the beta....
everyone ive talked to has said that the beta is very fast paced.... and every gameplay video ive watched confirms that it is very fast paced....
i only got to play 3 rounds.... and in all 3 rounds i had more fun then i ever did in halo 2......
and bungie has acknowledged the carbine issue

| I'm sorry but Halo 2 drops my jaw even to this day. I was not impressed with the Beta. I threw my crack down in the garbage after 2 days, seriously. Honestly, theres is nothing like getting clutch kills in h2.
I know this sounds really nooby but I'll say it anyways. The decrease in Auto Aim is Halo 3 makes the battles longer and boring. Halo 2 actually made me believe MC was the master of all weapons and vehicles...
And for those who think H3 was fast paced, well theres a difference of fast paced and everyone fighting the same spot because the maps are GHEYYYYYY.
Maybe if the beta was released with some less ghey maps maybe I would have enjoyed it.

| Whats this guys problem?
A. It's a beta
B. It's Halo
C. Longer battles? Really? By a few seconds maybe...
D. The maps were not finished and still fun

| Okay guys, here's the low-down on the weapons from the GamePro magazine...
BruteShot: can now hold 6 shots and has improved accuracy
RocketLauncher: no heat-seeking, no zoom, but significantly increased damage
Shotgun: noly 6 shells per magazine, devastating in close quarters
BattleRifle: slightly weaker
BeamRifle: No noticeable changes
Carbine: no noticeable tweaks; flashier and jucier sound and visual effects
PlasmaRifle: flashier effects, fundamentally the same
SMG: a 'zippier' firing rate
SniperRifle: vetor-style nightscope (helps spot hidden enemies) addition
FragGrenade: Faster fuse, slightly less splash damage, can only carry two at a time.
PlasmaGrenade: 'cornea-frying special effects'
AssaultRifle: 32 round clip
MissilePd: fires miniature heat-seeking missiles, low ammunition and slows movement speed
Chaingun: common turrent weapo, accuracy is limited, slower movement
Needler: powerful weapon, ripid firing rate, samll ammo clip
PlasmaPistol: battery life 'leaks' away when overcharged, and is less likely to home-in on enemies, ccan now disable vehicles
SpartanLaser: a vehicular sniper rifle, three second firing delay
SpikeRifle: spiritual succesor to BrutePlasmaRifle, sptis out rapid-fire stream of red-hot spikes, very powerful
Magnum: slower firing rate, but more powerful, holds 8 rounds, can't zoom
EnergySword:weapon-switch delay, ammo meter now introduced
SpikeGrenade: sticks to walls and sprays shrapnel, instantly kills enemies, sticks to enemies

| hmm...thats really interesting.. though some of the stuff i was a little dissapointed like the frags ( less can be carried ) etc. ..... hey when u mean on energysword part....(weapon-switch delay ) u mean that u have to power it off/on before/after u take out another weapon? | |
