Halo Chicks!

Yeah, it's just me again, with yet another suggestion...but for once it has nothing to do with this forum!

As people who read the Forum Suggestions thread (or whatever the devil it's called) know, I am thinking of starting up a Halo forum similar to this, except aimed at chicks. It's not that you guys are sexist or anything, it's just that the sheer male dominance might be a bit too mch for some Halo chicks and I want there to be a place where Halo chicks can go and talk freely. Sure, guys will be allowed to join, but the site will be run by girls, for girls (except for the Admins here, who I will most likely ask to be Admins over there...but I have total control coz I is a female and far more organised). I just wanted to hear what you guys here have to say about it, if anything...support, disagreement, whatever you guys think of it...

Also, I was thinking of naming it Halo Angels...unless anyone here has any other ideas?

It's a fact that women are more organised than men...unless, of course, we're getting ready for our high school grad and think you have silver nail polish at home but you don't, so you send your mum up to get some and then wind up doing your nails while your sister is doing your hair...

I HAVE DECIDED THE NAME OF THE CHICK FORUM...for now. It's gonna be "Halo in High Heels", which methinks I might do today...play Halo in heels, that is...

I disagree. its not a fact. I myself am very organized, it is just that...having 2 admins makes things a tad unorganized.

Hey Avid ,aybe you should get some of your active members like afthotstreak and Ordinator to help you with some of the site business.

Wouldn't things be more organised with more Admins?

no cause then there might be people messing with the over all site alot. Thats why moderators are usually around. they help with the moderate to basic stuff where the admins usually concentrate on the more important stuff to do with the site itself... or thats what i think anyway.

But if you have admins who speak to each other regularly and don't do anything without consulting the other(s) first, wouldn't it make things easier?

yeah thats why usually sites only have at the most 3 admins cause other wise it can get a little hecktic

Well, we normally consult eachother about everything, but both PoR and I can get hasty at times, and sometimes the 'left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing'.

....what are u trying to say there avid lol ... and yes to expand on the idea... it is usually an admin team of three... then again it depends on the size of the forum and the activeness of its members...a big forum can consist of many mods.. which take of the basic needs that normal members cant do.. such as moving threads, locking, unlocking, and deleting threads... i believe they can delete posts to.. cant recall... our forum is getting larger.. and more active.. and as it grows we will be putting in new mods.... admins are basically for changing things on a grand scale... like making a new category or forum.. changing the background etc..

Maybe if the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing then it should hold hands with the right hand. Then they can sit down and discuss the happenings of the forum over a cup of coffee...

Coz I have decided that for my little forum thingy I am gonna have three admins (and I already know who they are *insert evil laugh here*) as for Mods...I haven't decided that yet. Maybe the guys from here who wander over can all be Mods in some way...maybe...

lol thats cool. and you would be able to do 3 admins. as for the rest we'll just have to wait and see how it goes.

Generally it is true that girls are better organizers and good in language arts class. Me and Avid are an exception.

(the only thing I can't organize though is my time x.x)
