| Not the best port ever. The graphics engine is wasteful, the controls are akward, the multiplayer costs money, and there is (except for the 2 new maps and a mapmaker) nothing new.
Microsoft has cut support for the game already.

| well, i got it about a week ago. - Quote :
- The graphics engine is
wasteful, Wrong. I have a 128MB graphics card, and the graphics are better than the xbox. - Quote :
- the controls are akward
meh. They take some getting used to, but the way they integrated the xbox360 controller to work with it was genius. - Quote :
- the multiplayer costs money
Wrong. Its free. It only costs money if you want to play cross-platform. That's understandable. - Quote :
- and there is (except for the 2 new maps and a mapmaker) nothing new
4 new maps and a mapmaker. And if 'nothing new' is a big fault, then why does anyone by HaloPC? I do have a major problem with it though: lag. My computer is top notch, i believe, and the game lags up VERY often. Campaign is hard to play, and you miss most of the cutscenes because of it. Is anyone else having this problem.

| nope, used CD? the 360 controler thing kicks ass too, they are thinking of trying to allow the keyboard and mouse onto the 360 in reverse for some 360 RTS games | |

| That would be good. I like using mouse and keyboard for RTS games i'm so much more comfortable with it.
For me its any game thats first person shooter use conrollers like the xbox 360 one and for RTS games use mouse and keyboard. Though i will try Halo Wars with a controller.

Just go through the old threads in the HWF. You'll find it. Yeah, cuz I'm sure no developer ever thought the game would work with a keyboard and mouse... - Quote :

| Halo Custom Edition is much better. The H2EK is almost completely locked up, unlike the original HEK which has almost no limitations (only problems are outdated engine limits) | |

| the original HEK required 3Dmax, which...kinda sucks. You had to pay an assload of money to do anything. H2EK doesn't require that. I think a few bugs and problems with it is understandable, because they put their own 3D engine in their game. | |

| You are misinformed. You don't need 3DS to use HEK. Even if you don't have 3DS you can use Gmax, which is basically 3DS max 5 (What Halo 1 was made with) without the render option. | |

| Do you even have Halo2 Vista? I just made my first map with it, and its SO easy. I've never made a map on HEK, but i've heard that even a simple recreation of an existing map (without fine tuned details) can take weeks! I just made a mediocre version of Blood Gulch in 4 hours! | |

I just made my first map with it, and its SO easy. Nope. I've never made a map on HEK, but i've heard that even a simple recreation of an existing map (without fine tuned details) can take weeks! Dude, you can't make maps with HEK... Also, a recreation of a map would take about 5 minutes. It's called ripping. I just made a mediocre version of Blood Gulch in 4 hours! Good job, now upload it to HaloMaps.org My responses is bold. Wow, there is no difference... underlined then...

| You can't play against Xbox owners for H2V. You need to pay money to play anything other then matchmaking. | |

Your point? I MADE the map. Did I not make myself clear? I guess i shall remain monosyllabic (short words ) from now on... - Quote :

Why? I made the maps for my own satisfaction, not to be berated for lack of skill. Though...for the third time you didn't answer whether you have the game or not...

| Something screwed up, the nope ws for that. Also my point is that HEK doesn't mak maps. Gmax/3ds max/any other map that exports as a .3ds. If you are attacked so what? It's the internet. P.S. Use big words, short words bore me. | |
