I've noticed that you put dashes into your swear words. I know that is an attempt to bypass a swear filter. If we even had a swear filter, you know i would ban you instantly, correct?

I brought up the topic of a swear filter when the forum first started. The idea was shunned.

If we had one, i would simply have base swear words in the filter. Then, if anyone attempts to bypass the filter by putting dashes or spaces in the words, they would get an instant ban.

It's fun when it's appropriate, it's not fun when it's offensive. If you're using the f-bomb as an emphasis thing in a positive light (ie, "That was a [bad word here] awesome concert"), then yeah, I reckon that most people are cool with that. But when you're using it in an offensive sense (ie, [bad word here] you, you [bad word here][bad word here]), then it's kinda sorta...not cool.

Adjective, yeah, that's the point I was trying to make...surely people know when they've gone too far, and are able to apologise if they cannot convey that they are only joking or whatever and people take offence when offence was not intended.
