i've lost internet at home.

yep i've lost internet connection at home, hence why i have not been on here let alone online for a long time. I don't know when thi problem will be fixed but i'm hopeing its soon. At the moment i'm at the University using their internet (and Rainbow Chickens laptop)

uh, do they have a Comp lab, or library with one?
if so, use theirs, i do that every saturday

There are several comp labs here, and several computers in the library, but they are usually all in use when we are here, and I had a class this morning so he used my lappy while I was in there.

so what internet do he have, details please =D

I don't know what internet i have at home my dad has all control over that stuff. All i know is that our modem is probably broken (cause TPG says we have be granted internet access and all that so its a fault on our end).

oh and now my computers graphics card is dying so I'm unsure how it will go with doing photoshop and internet stuff if i get connection back before replacing the graphics card.

hmmmm, could be a virus, or just old software and hardware.

It is old stuff, my graphics card was really old so its going to have to be replaced. and we have a new modem device type thing so provided that it can be set up correctly i'll have internet at home.

yeah and its lucky i got most of my stuff off onto my laptop before my card got too bad. so yeah i can still sig make YAY! i however didn't get all my halo images hopefully they are all safe in the removeable hard disc.

I've never used a mac before, and I would love to try. But you know money, and I'd rather not use it on something I don't know I'll like.

poor poor avid.. so out of the loop hehe jk.. buy yes mac can run windows.. using a new software called bootcamp.. so essentially.. mac can run mac stuff and windows... while windows only runs windows...

but boot camp is just the basic installation of windows. i use parallel so i can use windows and mac at the same time.

oh ya thats right hehe i havent looked up at parallels.. i have a really old Ibook G4 and my parents dont wanna chip in so i can get a new mac lol.. so lol its really old and doesnt work as well
