Halo: The Sangheili-San ‘Shyuum War

Prologue- Explanation
The beginning of the war, the basic details Location: Sangheliu System,
The aliens came above the city, with a massive ship all the priests recognized was Forerunner technology. They came down to talk peace just to get the Sangheili’s holy relics. They claimed to be the Forerunners followers, just like the Sangheili, and that they required them to hand the relics over. The Sangheili refused claiming,
"You destroy them, dismantle them, and make abominations of the relics!" The alien species, now known as the San ‘Shyuum, defending themselves explained,
"They would of wanted us to do it, to further exploration of their transcendence." After the San ‘Shyuum leader left, the Sangheili ordered their massive fleet to demolish the San ‘Shyuum’s pristine Dreadnought. After the failed attempt to destroy the Dreadnought,the San ‘Shyuum retaliated and destroyed the Sangheili fleet, ship after ship. The Sangheili people complained that extinction was immanent and surrender or adoption of the San ‘Shyuum ways of relic dismantlement and reuse was the only way to survive. They chose the adoption, making fleets of newly armed ships, the Sangheilians unleashed hell. The Sangheili in charge of the fleet was Rtas Hyu. This soldier effectively decimated the smaller escorts of the major Forerunner ship. The Sangheili were so close to victory when the enemy decided to make an offering to the Sangheili leaders; become their protectors, with being a sub-servant to the new found brotherhood, The Covenant, and they would share the Forerunner relics. The Sangheili had only one condition, they strip the Dreadnought of all weapons known. The San ‘Shyuum were hesitant to this proposal, but knew it was required. The Sangheili agreed to this edited proposal and joined the newly founded covenant.

Chapter 1- Acquaintance
First contact, Sanghelios’ moon Drill sight\
Suumh, Sanghelios’ only none atmospheric moon,
"Someone hand me the laser drill, I need it to get through this Ocan rock!" Rtas Hyu screamed to his co-workers. Rtas Hyu was a engineer-miner on one of the four moons of Sanghelios, he was married and had two children.
"Here you go Rtas, but be careful, one tear in your suit, your dead." Juhgh Tymany warned Rtas as he handed him the drill. The mass sound of grinding, crumbling rock and heavy mining equipment made it hard to hear his fellow miner. As the drill’s laser came to life and pinned to the receiver and started to spin, he sung a song he learned long ago, when he met his wife.
"The night goes on, love goes in. May the god’s bless us, love to all. The night is sweet, with the scent of keet. May we live to server, but to live to freedom." he repeated it till another co-worker, Ras Huydi who was Rtas’s superior, came over.
"Good job, the Ocan seems to be loosening. Oh, your wife is on Linter Connection, she wants to talk to you, I’ll let you." Ras looked pleased.
"Thank you. Juhgh, want to continue my spot, I got a call?" Rtas said, wishing he would, making the job easier when he got back.
Juhgh looked tired "Maybe, if I get mine half done, who’s calling?"
"Hylie, and thanks if you do." Rtas walked to the Linter antenna receiver, and connected it to his helmet and turned his outer speaker off, to make the conversation private.
"Hylie, how you doing, how’s Kyu and Vudime?" He said sounding friendly. He used their second name and knew they were fine but he wanted to sound responsible and caring.
It took her a few seconds to respond "They’re fine, I called to see what was coming to the moon." Hylie was a slipstream traffic watcher.
"What do you mean? A ship?" Rtas turned on his COM to call over Tyruik, the ship scheduler. "Are we expecting a ship, or do we know of a asteroid inbound?"
Tyruik look confused, "No, no ship is inbound." his voice was etchy.



Hylie looked at her controls, scanning the scanners for any ships or space objects. She spotted a object, in slipstream heading toward Suumh. She checked for its IFF and ID but had none. She decided to call Rtas, to warn him of a possible asteroid, as this was too big for a meteor.
"Hello, may I get connection to Suumh mining corporation, this is urgent." Hylie sounded calm and sweet.
"Yes Mam’. Please hold on." Hylie waited patiently till she got a hold of Ras Huydi.
"Hello, may I speak to Rtas, this is H..." just then, Ras had left the receiver knowing it was her and screaming for Rtas.
"Yes, there’s a possible asteroid inbound, I have requested a ship to destroy it." Hylie looked at the scanners and saw it was out a slipspace. "Hun, you should be seeing it right about now." Using detailed scans, she realized it was no asteroid, but a ship.

Chapter 2- First Contact
Suumh, Sanghelios moon\\Drill mine Dyir Rine, Site NS,
Rtas looked up and saw the massive object, all of a sudden it got quiet, no drilling, no machinery, just silence. "Hylie, what is it? Rtas had fear crawling on his spine, with the idea of aliens was the answer.
"It’s a ship, and the priest in the Space Monitor say," she was scared but excited at the same time, "He says it’s Forerunner, and there’s more than one ship, but these smaller ones aren’t Forerunner." Rtas knew if they weren’t Forerunner, that wasn’t a Forerunner controlled ship.
"Try to send a small fleet, and try to see who or what they are why they’re here." Rtas was so scared he was afraid to move and might set off something bad.
"I’ll be as polite as I can." Hylie tried adding humor to the monumental event, alien contact. Rtas finally decided to move. He went over to Ras, with a worried look.
"What if they are hostile? What will we do!?" One co-worker complained, this was going to turn very sweet, or horribly sour. Rtas had hoped to see aliens in his life time, hoped they’d be friends, but if these aliens were hostile, he would most likely be drafted, something he didn’t want. Rtas broke out in the middle,
"I requested Hylie to send a fleet, they’re going to see if they are friendly or hostile!" Rtas had hard time talking over the complaints of his co-workers, they got so loud, Ras couldn’t take it.
"SHUT THE F*** UP! We will find out!" Just as he said that the fleet Hylie requested flew over head. They were small, but fast and deadly ships. Rtas knew if the enemy was hostile, they would be outnumbered and out skilled. Rtas along with the rest of his co-workers got the fleets radio chatter.
"This is Fleet Master Erash Otaeam, we ask for a response, please reply," There was a long, deafly pause in the COM, Rtas hoped they would respond with a open COM and not guns.
"Hinsu gyus bin sa." The alien tongue was bitter and ununderstandable. He looked up to see the fleet was in a V Flanking Position, with the ships in the back charging their lasers .
"Do you come in peace, if so, please, let us meet on the moon below." The Fleet Master was weary and was being safe by no asking them to come aboard. "We mean no harm." Rtas knew that was a half-lie, the back ships major batteries were charged and aimed at the Forerunner ship.
"Agreed, we are the San ‘Shyuums, we mean no harm, unless those ships poor laser turrets don’t disengage." Rtas was astonished, the aliens quickly and almost instantly learned Sangheilian language. He wondered what else they could of done it a short while, he scared him.
"We will meet here, at this mining facility. Please bring whatever you want, we will do same." Rtas looked around and already half the workers were packing up preparing to leave hastily out of what could be a massacre. Some wanted to stay, and clean up the site for their new guests. Rtas decided to stay, he wanted to meet these, San ‘Shyuum.
Erash Otaeam was worried, they claiming our second best type lasers were poor, they must have advanced Forerunner weapons. He looked to his Communications Officer, a short, young male by the name of Nwtis Fuagha.
"Tell our rear ships to disable the lasers, we don’t want to start a war." Nwtis nodded and opened a fleetwide channel,
"All rear ships stand down, stay aware though." Erash was slightly enraged by Nwtis’s add-on. He then commanded Nwtis to call for a Tyros Dropship to take him to the moon. After landing he looked around and saw workers leaving, others cleaning. He went to their leader, a middle-aged man named Ras Huydi.
"Who ever is staying will have to move 3 Cics (miles/kilometers) out to keep things formal." Ras was compliant, telling all workers to go to Site NT which was actually only 2 Cics away. Ras of all people wanted to see the San ‘Shyuum and what they looked like. As if they heard Erash, after the workers left they came down, not in a dropship, but with one of the main ships escort it was massive. Erash opened a come to his flagship,
"Bring 3 ships down and have them face this one ship face to face." Erash wanted to make sure they had any upper hand hecould get, he might need it. The alien ship stopped with its center circle over them. All of a sudden it glowed, Erash’s first thought was it was a powerful belly cannon but just then purple light flashed around them and something was coming down, it was a gravity lift. Amazing, he thought, they have gravity lifts when we just learned to use it as propulsion. The beings wore no protective suits for air, had longish heads like him, but had long necks with them. Two sat in levitating chairs, one of metal, another stone, and five others had guns and another two had spears, they were ready for a fight if one started.
"How do you breathe without suits?" Erash’s 2^nd in command asked.
"The gravity lift transports air down with it, you may remove your helmets." said the one in the metal chair, "We are here for a search."
"We followed a relics mapping to this system, then we found you. Your world contains holy relics we search and explore, we wish to gather them." The stone chaired one explained, they seemed only here for our relics.
"The Forerunner relics you seek are ours, they aren’t for sale or trade." Erash didn’t want to say something he couldn’t stand behind, but he knew the world would stand behind his statement. "We have them on display for our prayers. You may see them when we establish atrying to find the right wordfriendship."
"We understand, but may we see them in our labs, we will return everyone we dismantle." the first one spoke, Erash was horrified, they dismantled Forerunner relics, heresy.
"Never, you will not dismantle our relics you heretics, find another planet to sin on!" Erash was hasty, and knew he might be making a mistake. If the heretics took the insult deep, they would be at war.
"We understand your accusation. You do not follow the forerunners to their transcendence by taking relics apart." he pressed a button on his chair, "But we insist you hand your relics over, now."

It looks as if it has potential to be good. This one was good so a series may very well follow suit.

by "series" u mean........ and ty, i got chaoter 2 finished and i updated the chapter names, 2nd i will be making 9-16 chapters (including beginning unchapter and end unchapter)

after continuas harasment, i decided to publish some copies to sell around campus. Any one got ideas for a cover?

i got a definet name on chapters 1-5, 6-9 are determined on how many chapters from 10-16 i add on.

Um well im not a good artist so it would be best to ask another person for help on a cover.
